We bought some icicle lights for our house that are blue. I am a fan of blue Christmas lights. We put them up (which was tricky due to the cold and WIND like crazy). For some reason, our house doesn't look festive. It actually looks scary, like a Halloween house. Perhaps it's the red candles in the windows. We're going to get white bulbs for those candles and see if it improves the look. Our house looks like a shark or something.

Haunted House

It does look like a shark and kinda scary hopefully the white lights will help change the look..maybe a santa on the lawn might make it look friendlier.
